The work of the IARU, includ­ing gen­er­at­ing the con­tent for this web­site, is per­formed entire­ly by vol­un­teers. What we do is both chal­leng­ing and enrich­ing. It is a joy and a priv­i­lege to be part of a glob­al team of high­ly moti­vat­ed and tal­ent­ed peo­ple, pulling togeth­er to ensure that ama­teur radio’s future is as bright as its past.

Each of us feels that ama­teur radio has enriched our lives. Work­ing through the IARU for the pro­tec­tion, pro­mo­tion, and advance­ment of ama­teur radio through­out the world is one way to repay some of what we have gained and to give future gen­er­a­tions the oppor­tu­ni­ty to expe­ri­ence what we have enjoyed.
