NOTIFICATION TO MEMBER SOCIETIES OF THE 19TH IARU REGION 3 CONFERENCE 04–08 Novem­ber, 2024 In Bangkok, Thailand.

 

Dear Col­leagues:

It is my great plea­sure to offi­cial­ly inform your Soci­ety of the 19th Inter­na­tion­al Ama­teur Radio Union (IARU) Region 3 Con­fer­ence to be held from 4th to 8th Novem­ber 2021 in Bangkok, Thai­land. This Con­fer­ence will be held in per­son and a vir­tu­al, which will be cor­dial­ly host­ed by Radio Ama­teur Soci­ety of Thai­land (RAST).

 

Since the Con­fer­ence is the supreme author­i­ty of the IARU Region 3, each Mem­ber Soci­ety should par­tic­i­pate in it by all means, to decide our future poli­cies for our admin­is­tra­tive, oper­a­tional and tech­ni­cal, and finan­cial mat­ters. As well we will elect our offi­cers for the next three-year peri­od. I will for­mal­ly announce the invi­ta­tion of this IARU Region 3 Con­fer­ence with detailed and rel­e­vant infor­ma­tion around mid­dle of July, 2024. How­ev­er, below items are fixed sched­ule and venue, and rel­e­vant issues;

 

1. DATE and VENUE

The main Con­fer­ence will take place 04 Novem­ber (Mon­day) to 08 Novem­ber (Fri­day) 2024 in Bangkok, Thailand.

 

In addi­tion to the main conference;

On the evening of 03 (Sun­day), the mem­ber soci­eties’ rep­re­sen­ta­tives meet­ing (Del­e­gate Meet­ing) is also planned. The IARU Region 3 Direc­tors’ meet­ing is sched­uled on 01 (Fri­day), 02 (Sat­ur­day) and 03 (Sun­day). Exist­ing Direc­tors will attend the meet­ings set for these days. The new­ly elect­ed Direc­tors and Sec­re­tary for the next tri­en­ni­um are also request­ed to attend the meet­ing for 09 (Sat­ur­day) Novem­ber after the main Conference.

 

2. CONFERENCE DOCUMENTS

With the next for­mal announce­ment with detailed and infor­ma­tion note of the 19th IARU R3 Con­fer­ence, the Sec­re­tary will request each of Mem­ber Soci­ety to pro­vide your par­tic­i­pant infor­ma­tion, your con­tri­bu­tion doc­u­ment and report by ten­ta­tive­ly 04 August, 2024 to IARU Region 3 Secretary.

I would appre­ci­ate it very much in advance for those Mem­ber Soci­eties to con­sid­er, par­tic­i­pate and pre­pare the par­tic­i­pant, doc­u­ments and infor­ma­tion for the 19th IARU Region 3 Con­fer­ence in Novem­ber, 2024.
